Celebrating Europe's Day

We spent a very nice morning in the library of Mérida in the celebration of Europe's Day.  We met a famous Ukranian writer called Valeria Kiselova  and we participated in workshops focus on braille language.

"Festas do Povo" Workshops in Campo Maior

 We visited the "Alice Naveiro" School in Campo Maior to work on our eTwinning Project "Um jardim colorido". We spent a wonderful day and we learnt about Campo Maior traditions. How to make paper flowers and traditonal tamborines and how to play them.

 A great breakfast and funny workshops.

Confederación Hidrográfica del Guadiana - Birdwatching and hiking in Puerto Peña.

 We enjoyed with the "Guardianes del Guadiana". Lovely place. We learnt a lot about animals and plants.

Ana Alonso visited our library and signed her books.

 We spent an incredible hour listening to Ana Alonso, a famous writer. She told us how started writing and some interesting facts about her Life. 

Jillian Rae, a famous musician visited our School.

 Jillian Rae played and sang songs in a lovely concert in our School. Kate's friend was really nice and enjoyed with our violinistic Blanca and Enrique.
